Wrapping up my all-Conan weekend here at CityCynic.com, I can’t help but share a sneak preview of sorts of Conan’s new show. Conan and friends taped a 5 minute Show Zero in their, umm, conference room, complete with guests! I can’t wait for CONAN to debut tomorrow night on TBS, its been too long since [...]

Andy Richter was on Lopez Tonight last night to promote the premiere of Conan this Monday Nov. 8th. He talked about how he and Conan were slighted (aka screwed over) by NBC and he even took a shot at Jay Leno (and rightly so!): Conan O’Brien’s new late night talk show premieres Monday at 11pm [...]

I understand that people love LOST. I really got into the show, even if I have to watch it all over again to really figure it out. But how much do you have to love LOST to spend the time doing this? I didn’t get a chance to ask the blond-haired lady driving the Jeep, [...]

Celebrity Apprentice Season 5 premieres February 19

Celebrity Apprentice returns with eighteen celebrities for Season 5 on NBC February 19. I’ve watched all of the previous seasons of the show, which have been full of crazy challenges and great conflicts between celebrities (ie- Gary Busey vs. Meatloaf) playing the game for charity. Plus there’s Donald Trump, who — no matter what you [...]

Mets legendary catcher Gary Carter dies

Former Mets catcher and Hall-of-Famer Gary “The Kid” Carter died today from brain cancer at the age of 57. As a lifelong Mets fan, Gary Carter was a legend. If he wasn’t the Mets catcher in 1986, it’s likely the Mets wouldn’t have won the World Series. Even in the years before and after the ’86 [...]
